Hot take: dried lavender vs rosemary for cozy smells
I keep going back and forth between dried lavender bundles and rosemary sprigs for my kitchen windowsill. Lavender smells great but fades after like 3 weeks, while rosemary holds its scent for nearly 2 months in my dry house. Which one do you all think works better for that old-fashioned cottage feel without spending money on candles?

My friend's lavender went moldy in a week. Rosemary didn't.

Oh totally get this struggle! I was in the same boat last fall and honestly rosemary won for me. I hung a few dried sprigs over my kitchen window and they still smelled like a cozy herb garden like 6 weeks later. Lavender is nice but it just disappears too fast for my taste. Also I found that crushing the rosemary leaves a tiny bit every few days helps refresh the scent without having to replace anything. Plus it makes my kitchen smell like I'm actually cooking even when I'm just reheating leftovers lol.
