Was sure I hated those chunky highlight foils until I saw the result

Tbh I thought the big chunky foils were just a gimmick for Instagram pics. A client in Phoenix specifically asked for that look last Tuesday so I gave it a shot even though I was rolling my eyes inside. When I pulled them out the color was so much more blended and natural than my usual tiny sections. Has anyone else tried bigger foils and been surprised by the outcome?

Noticed the same thing with bigger spatulas when I cook, sometimes bigger really does work better.

My KitchenAid spatula is literally 14 inches long and I still find myself reaching for it even when I'm just flipping a single egg. Honestly I was shocked when my buddy handed me his giant one at a barbecue last summer, I thought he was joking. But ngl, flipping those big burgers on a flat top with a small spatula is a nightmare, the bigger one just gets the job done without any drama. Tbh I never went back after that one cookout.
