Warning: I tried a new keratin treatment formula and my client's hair turned a weird shade of green
A salon in Miami sent me a sample of their 'ultra-smooth' keratin formula last month, and I used it on a client with highlighted blonde hair. After the rinse, her ends had a definite mint green tint that took two clarifying washes to fully remove. I learned you really have to check the base color of the formula against the client's current color, even if the product says it's safe for all hair. Has anyone else run into a color shift like this with a smoothing treatment?

Guess she got the St. Patrick's Day special.

Reminds me of this one bar in Boston I used to go to where they'd serve green beer but charge you $12 for it (total rip-off, honestly). I get that St. Patrick's Day is fun and all, but labeling something as a "special" usually means it's either watered down or overpriced, not worth whatever story sage286 is hinting at. Maybe I'm old school, but I'd rather just get a normal drink and enjoy the holiday without the gimmicks. So I'm pushing back on that idea - can't see how a themed drink is anything to make a big deal over.

Wait, what exactly do you mean by that, @sage286? Are you saying someone got a drink that was dyed green or something? That feels like there's a bigger story here... like maybe it was a bad idea or it went wrong. I need more details because your comment seems to hint at something specific happening.
