Thought a clear gloss topcoat would be a quick fix on a client in Amarillo, and it did the opposite
I had a client in Amarillo last month whose color was fading uneven and I slapped a clear gloss over it thinking it would even things out in 20 minutes flat. It sealed in a weird greenish cast under the salon lights and she noticed right away, so I had to strip it and start over at no charge. Lesson was to always test gloss on a small section first, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a topcoat pull a color sideways like that and what you did to save it.
