That toner mishap that ate up my whole Saturday
Spent 6 hours fixing a toner job on a client from Sacramento that should've taken 45 minutes. The lift had settled unevenly from her last appointment, so the orange bands just kept showing through after every gloss. Has anyone else dealt with stubborn banding that fights corrective color this bad?

Honestly I'm sitting here trying to figure out if six hours on one toner job is actually a disaster or just a Tuesday. I've had days where I chased the same orange band for that long and honestly it was mostly me redoing the same thing expecting different results. Real talk, sometimes the lift settled uneven and you just have to accept the band is gonna peek through until the next appointment. Six hours sounds like you kept going back and forth instead of just letting it be good enough and moving on. I mean, clients don't know the difference between 45 minutes and 6 hours unless you tell them, right?
