That $120 keratin kit from Amazon ruined my whole work week

Tbh I ordered this keratin smoothing kit online because it promised salon results for a fraction of the price. Followed the instructions exactly, left it on for the full 25 minutes like it said. My client's hair came out stiff and frizzy, not smooth at all, and she was not happy. I had to rebook her for a proper smoothing treatment at my shop to fix it, which ate up 3 hours on a Friday. Anyone else get burned by those cheap DIY kits, or am I just unlucky?
