Serious question, did anyone else learn way too late that you're supposed to point the nozzle DOWN when spraying hairspray?
I was doing a bridal party in Naperville back in March and the mom kept sneezing every time I finished a style. Took me three clients that day to figure out I was holding the can level and misting straight across the room instead of angling it down onto the hair. My old mentor never said a word about it in two years of training, she just let me keep doing it. Now I look back at all those sticky floors and foggy mirrors at my first booth and it makes sense. I still cringe thinking about the $40 can I wasted per week just floating into the air. Anyone got other basics like this that nobody bothered to tell you?
