Remember when we used to do perms on practically everyone?

I was at the salon last week and a new stylist asked me how to wrap a perm rod. Three years ago I had a whole chair of clients getting perms, but now it's mostly just blowouts and extensions. Does anyone else miss when perms were a regular part of the rotation?
