My old booth rent client said something about rebooking that I can't shake
A woman who has been coming to me for 3 years at my booth in Tampa said last week that she books her next appointment before she leaves because otherwise she just never comes back. It hit me because I always let clients walk out with a "text me when you're ready" and I lose probably 4 or 5 of them a month that way. Is it pushy to ask for a rebook at the chair, or am I just leaving money on the table being nice?
The thing she's saying is that she books because she knows herself, not because someone pushed her into it. So it's less about being pushy and more about giving them the option while they're still in the chair. Asking "want me to hold a spot for you in 6 weeks?" is pretty low pressure, and most folks just say yes or no.
