My bleach mishap last Saturday set me back 4 hours
I was doing a full highlight on a client in Portland and mixed my bleach a little too thick. It sat for 25 minutes and by the time I rinsed, the ends were practically white while the roots barely lifted. I had to do a corrective toner and then re-foam the roots, which took 4 extra hours and made us late for her event. Has anyone else had a viscosity issue like this and found a better way to gauge the mix without a scale?
Hate that for you, same thing happened to me last month with a balayage and I ended up having to tone twice and redo the whole bottom half. I feel like every batch of bleach acts different depending on the day, so now I just do a test strand every time no matter what.
