Just realized that cold water rinses for color-treated hair actually make a difference
I was always told to do it but thought it was just an old wives' tale until a client in my chair last month said her red tones lasted a full 8 weeks after I started doing it. Has anyone else seen results this clear with a specific technique?

I used to think it was pointless too but the proof is in the pudding.

Doesn't the hot water just open the cuticle more? I've never noticed it making a real difference.
