Just realized I've been using the same comb for 12 years

Was cleaning out my kit last night and found a black fin comb I bought at Sally Beauty in 2012. Got curious and looked up how many cuts a professional comb is supposed to last. Turns out most stylists replace them every 6 months. I've done thousands of cuts with this thing and the teeth are still fine. Anyone else hold onto tools way longer than they probably should?

Oh man, I still use the same Goody brush I bought at Walmart in 2008. The cushion is all flattened out and a couple bristles fell out years ago, but it still gets the job done. I have a scissors from a dollar store that I use to trim my bangs, probably like 6 years old now, still sharp enough. My mom laughs at me every time she sees it, says I need to treat myself to something better. But hey, if it works it works, right?

Relate so hard to that, @davis.casey, my flat iron's held together with tape and sheer stubbornness.
