Read a hair stylist's blog once where she called cold water the "final seal" for a style. It makes sense when you picture the hair cuticle laying flat from the heat, then the cold just locks it shut. My friend with curly hair swears by a cool rinse at the end of her shower to keep the frizz down all day. That little mist probably does the same thing without ruining the blowout. Such a simple fix after an hour of fighting it, lol.

That "final seal" idea from the stylist blog is a good way to put it. I tried the cold water thing after a blowout once and it actually worked, which felt like a miracle. I get what your friend means about the frizz, jason112, it's a constant battle. It's funny how the best fix is often the simplest one after you've tried everything complicated.
