Heard a stylist say she charges $150 for a dry cut and no one blinked

Was waiting for my appointment yesterday and this other stylist told her client she only does dry cuts now at $150 a pop. Client didn't even flinch. Made me wonder if I'm underselling myself on precision cuts. Anyone else shift their pricing based on technique like that?

Isn't a dry cut just a haircut with extra steps though?

Nah man, dry cuts are totally different. When your hair's wet it stretches out, so you don't get the real shape or texture right. Dry cutting lets you see exactly how it's gonna fall when you walk out the salon.
