Had the worst Saturday of my career last week...

I booked five back to back highlights at my chair in Phoenix and the last client's formula lifted way too fast leaving her with orange banding. Has anyone else hit a total nightmare day like that and been able to turn it around with the client?

honestly i gotta say i think you're overthinking this one. clients pay for a result and you gave them a bad one, plain and simple. if you can't handle the pressure of back to back highlights then maybe you should space them out more or just not take that many in a day. i've seen stylists ruin people's hair with bad timing and then blame the products or the client's hair type instead of owning up to it. the orange banding is on you, not the formula. you need to apologize, offer a free fix, and hope she doesn't blast you on social media. that's your only move here.

Helped a lady leave looking like a calico cat once, that was fun.

Kinda like how people overstuff their schedules in general and then act surprised when something falls apart. @paulperry has a point about owning it though, that's the same thing as someone who shows up late to dinner and blames traffic instead of admitting they didn't plan ahead.
