Client told me my highlights were too 'chunky'
Had a client last Thursday say my foil placement was leaving thick sections. I started doing smaller slices and weaving more and the difference is night and day. Anyone else get feedback that completely changed their technique?

Took me a while to learn this same lesson. Used to do thick slices and thought it looked fine til a client called it "blocky." Switched to weaving with a tail comb and taking really thin sections. Now I do almost twice as many foils per head but they blend way better. The time difference isn't even that bad once you get the rhythm down. Chunky highlights are a dead giveaway of rushed work.

Tbh I gotta ask - how do you handle the front hairline with those thin sections? I've been trying to get better at fine weaves but the baby hairs always trip me up. Do you just weave right through or do you use a completely different technique for that area?
