Bought a $150 hot comb set from a mall kiosk, what a mistake
I was at the Galleria last month and this pushy sales lady let me try her demo hot comb on my own hair. It felt smooth right there under the bright lights, so I dropped $150 on the full kit with the brushes and heat protectant. Got home, used it on a client the next day, and the plates pulled like crazy, left her ends looking fried. The mall kiosk has a strict no return policy once the seal is broken, so I'm out the cash and a repeat customer. Has anyone else fallen for those in-mall demos, or is there a decent budget hot comb that actually glides?
