Question about how fast a worn undercarriage eats itself
Ran a 2016 excavator for a demo job in Gary and the track pads went from okay to shot in about 3 weeks of steady work. Turned out the idler and sprockets were already worn and I just hadn't walked the undercarriage in a while. How often do you guys actually check yours, or do you wait till something starts sounding wrong?
