Appreciation post: I ditched the laser level for a chalk line on interior walls and my framing got faster
My old boss in Reno made us snap lines by hand on every partition wall, and I rolled my eyes for two seasons. Now that I run my own crew, we snap lines on anything under 20 feet and only pull out the laser for long runs, because setup eats 10 minutes a wall. Anybody else split it that way, or am I just slow with the tripod?

Reno boss snapped lines by hand too, but setup's not the tripod's fault.
