Update: Our picnic debate about UFOs went off the rails
Last Sunday, my friends and I were having a picnic at Riverside Park. Jake mentioned those new UFO videos the government released, thinking it was cool. Emma snapped back that it's all fake news, and suddenly everyone was arguing. People dug out their phones to show clips, and voices got so loud a family nearby gave us looks. Tom tried to calm things down but ended up agreeing with Emma, which made Jake mad. We ended the picnic early because the mood was totally shot. It's crazy how a simple chat can blow up like that.
