Unpopular opinion: I used to laugh at flat earth stuff until a retired surveyor in Boise walked me through his leveling notes
We got to talking at his garage sale and he showed me how he checked a 40 mile line of sight with nothing but a theodolite and math, and I still dont buy the whole thing but I stopped calling every believer an idiot. Anyone else have a moment where a random conversation made you ease up on a topic you thought was settled?
