The time my contractor tried to tell me 9/11 was an inside job while he was trimming my oak tree
I was up on a ladder in my own backyard in Cleveland back in July 2009, showing a guy how to properly notch a heavy limb, and he just started going on about controlled demolitions. He claimed the towers fell too symmetrically and that the steel was cut with thermite. I stopped the job right there, paid him for the morning, and sent him home. Has anyone else had to fire a worker mid job because they wouldn't stop pushing conspiracy theories?

Wait, TWO HOURS of moon landing talk? I would have lost it after fifteen minutes tops. That guy must have had the patience of a saint letting him finish that deck.

My neighbor in Toledo had a guy redoing his deck in 2011 who spent two hours explaining how the moon landings were faked in a studio. He finally just told the guy to pack up his nail gun and leave. Some people just can't separate their work from their weird obsessions I guess.

Yeah @noahclark, I'd have sent him packing way before two hours... some folks just can't read the room.
