My uncle told me the moon landing stuff was all a distraction, and I finally get it.

He said it back in 2015, at a family cookout. Told me to look into the tech they claimed to have, then look at what we had in the 70s. Said the real story was the money trail and the cold war. I thought he was just another old guy with wild ideas. Then I spent a weekend deep in old NASA budget reports. The jump from Gemini to Apollo was insane. The money just vanished into contractors. I'm not saying we didn't go. I'm saying the public story is too clean. The debate keeps us fighting over flags and shadows, not asking where the billions really went. Has anyone else dug into the funding side and found things that don't add up?

Yeah the money thing is the real story. Everyone gets stuck on the flag waving but you're right, follow the cash. Those old budget reports are wild, it's like the whole system was built to move money to certain companies. Makes you wonder what else got buried under all that "for our country" talk.
