I finally got my uncle to watch that moon landing documentary
He's been a hardcore 'it was all faked' guy for years, so I sent him the one with the restored mission control footage. He called me last night and said, 'Okay, maybe they really did go.' I was shocked, because he never budges on anything. It taught me that sometimes the right piece of evidence, presented plainly, can actually crack a door open. What's one piece of media that actually changed someone's mind on a conspiracy theory for you?

Wait, he actually said "maybe they really did go" out loud? That's wild lol. I've never seen someone fully leave a conspiracy theory camp like that. For me it was showing my cousin the simple breakdown of how the 9/11 planes couldn't have been holograms, just the basic radar data. He got real quiet after that.

Oh man that radar data thing is powerful. It reminds me of when I was deep into the JFK conspiracy stuff back in like 2015 or whatever. I had this whole wall of string and photos like a crazy person. But then my uncle who was an engineer just sat me down with a simple ballistics chart and the Warren Commission report. No yelling or nothing. He just said "see this line here? That matches the single bullet theory if you account for the car's angle at that exact second." I sat there for like an hour staring at it. And slowly I realized all my fancy YouTube videos and forum posts didn't have any actual numbers. They just had feelings. Took me another two weeks to fully admit I was wrong but that quiet moment was the start.

My buddy Dave did that with chemtrails, @emery965.
