How a moon hoax talk led to a few changed minds
I was in an online forum where people argued the moon landing was fake. One user kept posting shaky videos as proof. I shared simple facts about the mirrors left there for lasers. After a while, some folks admitted they had not seen that evidence before. It felt good to see a bit of sense break through. This small win shows that patient debate can work. We need more honest talks like this to fight nonsense.

Wait, shaky videos? That’s the big proof they were going with? I’m honestly shocked that’s what convinces people, when the mirror thing is such solid, simple science. You can literally point a laser at it and get a bounce back from the moon. That’s way harder to fake than some blurry, shaky film anyone could make in their backyard. It’s wild what people will accept as evidence when they really want to believe something. Good on you for bringing up the actual facts.

The laser thing is way too solid for @taragibson's robot idea.

Seriously though, that mirror proof isn't a slam dunk for me. You could just have robots put those mirrors there (way cheaper than a whole manned mission, right?). @brian750's laser bounce could come from any reflector up there, not necessarily one left by astronauts. Those shaky videos actually show some weird stuff (like no stars in the sky) that the simple facts don't really answer.
