Can we talk about how long it really takes to fact-check a moon landing video?
I spent about 4 hours last Sunday trying to track down one original NASA source for a 1969 Apollo clip. Found 3 different claims on YouTube, but each one linked to some random blog with no real citations. Actually had to dig through a university database to find the raw footage, which took another 90 minutes. Has anyone else run into this rabbit hole trying to prove a simple conspiracy theory wrong?

That 4 hour rabbit hole you described is EXACTLY what happened to me with a different clip last month. I found myself scrolling through 15 year old forum posts and a scanned PDF from some library archive just to see one moment from the original broadcast. Honestly, it's wild how much time gets eaten up just trying to find one decent source when all the popular videos just link to each other.

Man, @nathan_webb, isn't it crazy how these little things just suck you right in? I swear I've lost whole afternoons to the same kind of stuff, clicking through old blog comments just to find a single screenshot someone uploaded in 2008.
