Tried playing Hollow Knight with a Switch Pro controller after 60 hours on Xbox and the dpad is way better for platforming

The difference is night and day for precision jumps, has anyone else noticed a big improvement switching between console controllers for the same game?

Way better for platforming" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there, huh... I've got like 80 hours on Xbox with Hollow Knight and the dpad on that thing is basically a suggestion more than a button. Meanwhile my Switch Pro pad just sits there collecting dust because the stick drift makes me feel like I'm piloting a drunk mosquito...
