Serious question, why does everyone say Game Pass and PS Plus are the same thing?
I run a small Discord with about 40 people across all three consoles, and for 8 months I kept seeing the same mix-up in our game nights. People would say 'just get the subscription' like it works the same everywhere, but Sony puts new first-party stuff on there way later than Xbox does. I finally made a one-page cheat sheet pinned in the channel and our 'which sub should I buy' questions dropped by more than half. Am I missing something, or are people just repeating what they see in comments without checking release dates?
Look at how people treat phone plans the same way. My sister swears AT&T and Verizon are "basically the same" because they both have unlimited data, then complains when her hotspot caps out at 15 gigs. Same thing with streaming too. Folks lump Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ together like they all drop new shows on the same schedule. Nobody reads the fine print anymore. They just hear a brand name and assume the details work out. Your cheat sheet probably saved your Discord a hundred dumb arguments.
