Saw a guy lose 40 hours of Elden Ring progress at a Dallas LAN party and it changed how I set up my consoles
Was at a friend's place in Dallas two weeks ago for a small LAN night. His little brother tripped over a controller cord and yanked the Xbox off the shelf while the game was mid-save. 40 hours gone, just like that, because he had cloud saves turned off and never checked. Now I check my save settings on every console before I start anything, takes 30 seconds. Anyone else got a save horror story that made them change their setup?
