My kid's $20 wired controller from Walmart lasted longer than my $70 one, and I finally stopped arguing about it
Last month my son spilled juice on his Xbox controller, so we grabbed a cheap wired one from the Walmart on Colfax just to get him through the week. That thing is still going strong after 4 weeks of daily Fortnite, while the fancy one I bought in January started drifting in 2 months. Turns out the cheap ones use the same sticks and nobody in my house can feel a difference. What cheap gear surprised you like that?

Check the return policy before you buy, because those cheap wired ones are usually swap-and-go if they die in the first year. Sounds like you found the sweet spot where price stops matching quality.
