My buddy's Xbox-only kid beat me at Mario Kart and the room got weirdly quiet
My friend's 11 year old has never owned a Nintendo console, only an Xbox, and he still took 2nd place in Mario Kart 8 at our house on Saturday. Turns out he had been watching YouTube clips of the tracks for weeks because he wanted to hang out with my kids and not just sit there. What got me was how fast the argument about which console is better died once a controller was in everyone's hands. Does anyone else notice that cross-console playdates kill the whole debate way faster than any forum post ever does?
