My buddy said ditch the cross play group chat and use one app for all three consoles, he was dead right
Last month my friend Dave from our Thursday night group in Columbus kept pushing me to stop juggling three separate friend lists and just set up one shared app for the whole crew. I fought him on it for about two weeks because I thought it would be a hassle to get everyone to move over. Turns out he was spot on, and we went from 4 people showing up for game night to 9 in the first weekend after I made the switch. The best part is nobody argues about who is on what console anymore, we just post "who's on at 8" and whoever is free hops in, PS5, Xbox, or Switch, doesn't matter. We've run it for 3 weeks now and have not had one of those old "you can't join my lobby" headaches. Curious if anyone else has a system that actually keeps cross platform groups together without someone getting left out.
