My 3 year old nephew beat my clear time on the first Mario level and it fixed how I pick games
Last Saturday I handed him the controller thinking he would mash buttons and get bored in a minute. He cleared the whole first world in about 8 minutes. I sat there with my mouth open while he laughed at me. I had been skipping co-op and family games for a long time because I assumed they were too easy and not worth my cash. That one afternoon made me see that fun does not have to come from difficulty. So I grabbed a couple of couch co-op games on sale for $20 total and my whole group has been playing them at my place in Austin every Friday since. I used to only buy hard single player stuff. Now my shelf has a mix and honestly the group nights get more laughs than any boss fight. What co-op games do you keep around for people who do not play much?
