Just compared my old Xbox controller to a friend's Switch Pro controller and wow

I've been using the same Xbox One controller for like 4 years and thought it was fine. Then my buddy handed me his Switch Pro controller last weekend and those HD rumble motors actually let me feel exactly which side of the track I was drifting off on in Mario Kart. Has anyone else noticed a big difference between controller brands for racing games?

Wait, you're telling me those HD rumble motors can actually tell you which SIDE of the track you're drifting off of? That's wild. I've been using my Xbox controller for years and the rumble just feels the same no matter what. It's like a constant buzz that doesn't tell me anything useful.
