I finally saw the actual numbers on how long it takes devs to patch a game on each system
Was reading through a Game Developer article from March about cert times and the gap between PlayStation and Xbox was smaller than I assumed. The number that got me though was the average wait for a hotfix to clear Nintendo, supposedly around 2 weeks back in 2021, while the others were closer to a few days. Is that old data at this point, or does Nintendo still take the longest to push a patch through? And does that change which system you would rather buy a buggy launch game on?
