That parking garage pour in Tulsa changed my big slab approach

Had a 14,000 sq ft deck pour last month for a parking structure in Tulsa. Weather was perfect but the spec called for a hard trowel finish and I was dragging a magnesium float forever. By hour three my shoulders were done and the concrete was setting faster than I could keep up. I switched to a finishing aid from a rental yard, basically a power trowel blade combo I never used before. It cut my final pass time in half and the surface came out way more consistent. Now I bring that setup to any job over 5,000 sq ft and I'm not wrecked by lunch. Anyone else run into trouble on big flatwork and switch their tool lineup mid-job?
