Serious question, did a homeowner ever save you on a pour?
Had a guy in Tucson last month point out my screed was riding a low spot before I even started, said he'd watched his dad pour patios for 20 years. He caught it and we saved the whole slab, so what's the best tip a customer ever handed you on site?
Had a guy in Tucson" is a good line, wish my guy had that kind of eye. Best tip I ever got was an old lady telling me to add a little more water because "it looks thirsty." I laughed, then dumped half a bucket and the finish came out way smoother than my dry mix would've. My own mix would've looked like a dried creek bed. The homeowner saved me from myself that day.
