Serious question, a guy on my crew said he wets the subgrade the night before a pour and it threw me
We were finishing a 40x60 shop slab out in Lubbock last week and he swore pre-soaking keeps the mud from pulling water out of the mix too fast, so now I'm wondering if anyone else does this or if it's just a habit from his old crew.
