PSA: I lost a full day's pay on a bad batch of curing compound
Picked up a new brand of curing compound from a local supply house last year, said it was a 'high performance' formula. Poured a small driveway in the morning, sprayed it on like normal. Came back the next day and the surface was all crazed and powdery, like it never sealed right. Had to grind it down and redo the whole top layer, cost me about $400 in labor and materials. What's a curing compound you guys actually trust for hot weather pours?

Tried a "high performance" sealer once that performed so badly it should have paid me. I stick with the old brand from the big box store now.

Magic beans" is a bit harsh, maybe they just had a bad batch. Sometimes you gotta try new stuff, the old brands get lazy.

So that "high performance" just meant it fails at a higher level, huh? Sounds like you and @alice_harris35 got the same magic beans from different sellers.
