PSA: I keep seeing guys skip the bull float step on garage slabs around here.
I'm in the Kansas City area and noticed a few crews going straight from screeding to the power trowel. Skipping the bull float leaves the cream on top and traps air, which causes that weak, dusty surface layer. Had a client's 24x24 garage floor start scaling after one winter because of it. What's the fastest bull float you guys trust to keep on schedule without cutting corners?

A magnesium bull float is the fastest tool that still does the job right.

Ever see a crew try to skip it on a really big pour, like a warehouse floor?

Watched a buddy's patio get totally ruined last year from skipping that step, same scaling issue. Crew was in a huge rush and it cost him.
