Pro tip: Always seal exterior concrete before winter.
If you don't, freeze-thaw cycles will wreck the surface. It's a cheap fix that prevents big problems.

So you decided to save fifty bucks and skip the sealer? How's that going for you now, staring at your driveway that looks like it lost a fight with a hammer? You get to spend all spring watching little chips and cracks turn into giant craters. Congrats, you've added a free, ugly gravel patch to your property. Nothing says "I DIY" like creating your own erosion project.

Ugh, tell me about it... I skipped sealing my patio last year and now it's a mess. All those little cracks from the winter just kept getting worse every time it rained. Markm27 is right, saving a few bucks now costs way more later.

Yeah, that "ugly gravel patch" line is too real. I've seen driveways around here that look like a bag of chips exploded on them after one bad winter. It's one of those things you don't think about until the damage is already done and you're stuck with it.
