Poured 200 feet of sidewalk solo last Tuesday

Hit 200 linear feet of sidewalk by myself in one day. That's a personal record for me. Usually I cap out around 150 before my back starts screaming. Started at 5 AM with the forms already set from the night before. Had the mix truck show up right on time and the weather held at 72 degrees all morning. Used a magnesium float for the final pass and got broom finish perfect. The homeowner came out and said it looked like a machine did it. Made me feel good after grinding through the heat all summer. Feel for you on the back screaming part. That's a hell of a day's work for one person. I did 180 once and was basically walking like a hunchback for the next two days. The homeowner giving you a compliment like that makes it all worth it though, especially after sweating through the summer. Getting the broom finish just right by yourself is no joke, that's when your arms really feel it. Sounds like you earned that record fair and square.
