Picked a $40 hand float over a $900 power trowel for a small driveway in Tulsa
Honestly, that little 36 by 20 pad was too tight for the big machine to turn around without gouging the edges, so I went old school and it came out flatter than I expected, but has anyone else found that hand finishing slower on purpose actually cuts down on the number of times you need to bull float?
