Hot weather pour trick I stumbled on

Kept seeing blisters ruin my work when the sun was out. Started soaking my water drums in shade before the pour. No more bubbles and a cleaner finish.

I mean, I've never had issues with overnight cooling, maybe it's just me but my pours hold up fine.

Yeah, those summer pours can be a nightmare.

True about summer pours being rough. Something I never see people talk about is how much the temperature can drop overnight. If you place it hot in the afternoon and it cools down too fast that night, you can get all kinds of weakness in the slab.
