A 90 degree day in Houston showed me I had leveling all wrong
I used to swear by a 4 foot level for screeding big slabs. Last July we poured a 300 foot driveway in Houston and I fought the bull float for hours. The sun was brutal and I finally tried a laser level with a receiver on the straightedge. That day I stopped trusting my eye and started trusting the beam, never going back. Anyone else made the switch after one miserable pour?
