Wasted 2 hours on a printer in Boise because I kept skipping the driver check
I flashed the firmware, swapped the fuser, and reseated the formatter twice before a coworker asked if I had checked the driver version, and the 2019 build was the whole problem.

Been there way too many times, like when I spent a whole afternoon rebuilding a print spooler and the actual fix was a five second driver update. We always jump straight to the hardware because it feels more productive than checking the boring stuff first. At least now you know the 2019 build is cursed and you'll never trust it again.
