Shoutout to winget for killing my USB stick ritual
For a long time my fresh Windows install routine was: dig out the 16GB stick, run Rufus, wait, re-run Rufus when it failed, then install. Now I just boot the plain ISO, open PowerShell, and run winget install with a list of about 12 apps I keep in a Notepad file. Did a rebuild at a client's office in Mesa last Tuesday and had Chrome, 7-Zip, and everything else on the desktop in under 20 minutes. Curious if you folks keep a script file or just retype the commands each time.
