Hit 200 on-site calls this year, finally stopped hating the drive time
I used to dread the 30 to 45 minute trips between client sites, figured it was just wasted hours. But last Tuesday I hit my 200th on-site call for the year and added up the total windshield time, came out to over 90 hours sitting in traffic. That got me thinking about how I used those gaps to listen to motherboard repair podcasts and mentally map out each machine before I arrived. Now I actually plan my route by cluster, not by appointment order, and it cut my daily drive down by about an hour. Anyone else counting their mileage and rethinking their scheduling, or am I just getting too obsessed with the numbers?
