Client's old tower in Phoenix survived 3 floods but the PSU finally gave up
Went to swap a dead power supply on a machine last week that's been running since 2011, the dust inside was like felt and the caps on the motherboard were all bulged. Client swore it was fine until the power flickered, so I'm wondering if I should just recommend a full rebuild instead of patching this thing together again. Has anyone else dealt with customers refusing to let go of ancient rigs?
