A client in Dayton told me 'just make it work' and handed me a laptop with a literal soda spill inside.
I opened it up and the motherboard was a sticky, corroded mess. Has anyone else had a customer try to downplay damage that bad?

a literal soda spill inside" is crazy lol. yeah some people really think you can just magic that away. been there, it's the worst.

Disagree with you on this one @perez.barbara. I mean, a soda spill is annoying but it's not that hard to clean. You just need to soak up the liquid fast with paper towels, then hit the spot with some water and a tiny bit of dish soap. Idk, maybe it's just me but I've never had a stain stick if I get to it quick.
